HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Antique/Boutique Row (100-200) Block of Historic Downtown Central Avenue is one of Hot Springs' most popular destinations. It features the Antique/Boutique Walk each month on the third Friday evening from 4-8 pm. It is the place to be for that one-of-a-kind treasure, antiques, fine art, clothing, dazzling jewelry, specialty foods, plus unique gifts for the home and garden.

Adam Brown Shamrock Run needs supporters
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Join us to celebrate and honor the life of Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Adam Brown. This is a 5K run and/or walk, push a stroller, it's your choice. This invitation is extended to those near and far, who knew Adam, or have been touched by his story. Proceeds benefit The Adam Brown Memorial Fund. This fund will assist in the cost of The Turf Memorial in Adam's name at LH Summit Field, begin an annual Scholarship given to a deserving Lake Hamilton Senior, and any other organizations that Adam's family knew Adam was passionate about. Please send $25 a person,$7.00 per child. A t-shirt will be given at the event with a confirmed registration. We are certainly seeking sponsors to cover t-shirt cost (our only expense).

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The Mid-America Museum invites you to view a compelling exhibit from Arkansas Discovery Network. “Science and Art” returns to engage visitors at the leading edge of creativity. Experience interactive projection video; look into the hidden beauty of humble creatures; explore hi-tech fashion; be inspired by intricate origami to make your own artworks.

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- Mid-America Science Museum is pleased to host the 6th annual FIRST LEGO League robotics competition on February 5, 2011 at 9 a.m.

Each year middle school students from across the region showcase their skills and knowledge of robotics.  This year’s theme is "Body Forward."  Students must design, build, program and test autonomous robots, which will then be required to perform a series of tasks.

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an international program for children ages 9-14 (9-16 outside the U.S.

“Let’s keep dancing like there is no tomorrow!” We encourage our “groupies” to bring friends and introduce them to this wonderful opportunity to hear big band music in Arkansas. We also welcome suggestions as to improving the Tea dances for your enjoyment.

We are currently searching for more big band arrangements with waltz tempos and for some with Latin influences. We do like to accommodate your requests and receive many for those two categories.

Stardust Big Band event dates are January 16, February 20, and March 20 at the Arlington Resort Hotel, 413 Central, Hot Springs, AR. There is an $8 cover charge (no cost for students). For information call (501) 767-5482.
