LITTLE ROCK, ARK. (July 2, 2014) – The Little Rock Zoo is excited to announce that it will host the For Kids by Kids (FKBK) fashion show during the upcoming Little Rock Fashion Week on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in Café Africa.  

Created by LRFW founder Brandon D. Campbell, FKBK will showcase some of the hottest kid’s fashions from Belk, The Toggery and artistic fashion by kids from the Hillary Clinton Children’s Library for the upcoming season.  The third annual FKBK is appropriate for kids and adults, alike. The event benefits both the Zoo and LRFW’s new scholarship not-for-profit Oneofakind Fashionment Foundation (O.F.F.). In addition to the fashion showcase, guest will be able to enjoy live entertainment and food.

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (HSDFF) – Prominent film critic and journalist Lauren Wissot will join the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival this year as programming director, combining forces with festival executive director Courtney Pledger to bring to Arkansas documentary film from across the globe.

Wissot is the former director of programming for the Santa Fe Independent Film Festival, and still serves as its programming consultant, and is a member of the Bermuda International Film Festival's international advisory board. As a contributing editor at Filmmaker magazine, Wissot covers close to a film festival a month, both nationally and internationally. In fact, it was in this capacity as a journalist that she initially discovered and then fell in love with the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival.

Magic Springs Water Theme Park hosts its second Celebrate The Word weekend of the season with four Christian music acts. Kicking off the weekend on Friday, July 11 is Matthew West at 8:00 p.m. with opener the Rhett Walker Band at 7 p.m. 

On Saturday, July 12, Christian music giant Steven Curtis Chapman will take the stage at 8:00 p.m. with opener Tim Timmons opening at 7:00 p.m.

Matthew West is an American Contemporary Christian musician and actor from Nashville, Tenn. He has released five studio albums and is known for his songs "More", "You Are Everything", and "The Motions." He was nominated for five Dove Awards in 2005, two of which were for his major label debut album Happy. West won the 2013 American Music Award for Best Contemporary Inspirational Artist.
