HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) – Several puppies rescued from a Hot Springs puppy mill operation will be looking for a good home Saturday.

The dogs will be up for adoption Saturday from 10 am – 3 pm at an event hosted by Stop Animal Cruelty and the ASPCA.

You may recall: authorities raided an alleged puppy mill back in November, rescuing about 175 young dogs.

Mary Ann Taft, president of SAC in Hot Spring County, says there are 20 puppies up for adoption. The remaining dogs are being sent to other shelters.

According to Taft, all of the puppies have been spayed or neutered and medically cleared.

If you’d like to get a puppy, pre-adoption applications are required. The paperwork is being accepted until 7 pm Thursday night at the Steelworkers building in Jones Mill as well as at Tractor Supply on Highway 270 in Hot Springs.
