HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) - The owner of Posh Lounge and Studio was taken into custody on Friday after running from police.

At around 6 a.m., November 6, the Hot Springs Police Department responded to the 100 block of Magnolia Street in reference to a disturbance. Officers made contact with an 18-year-old woman who claimed she had been raped by Christopher Alphonzo Minniefield. Minniefield was inside a nearby residence while the victim was being questioned. He reportedly jumped from a 2nd story window and ran from the home.

After further investigation, police discovered that the rape actually occurred early Friday morning at Posh Lounge and Studio located at 2100 Albert Pike Road.

Arrest warrants were issued for Minniefield for Rape, Aggravated Assault and False Imprisonment. At 3:45 p.m. that day, the Hot Springs Police Department learned that Minniefield had checked himself into an area hospital for injuries he received after jumping out of the 2nd floor window.

Minniefield is now in police custody and will be transported to the Garland County Detention Center after being he is released from the hospital.
