Improvements to Highway 270 will require lane closure

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AHTD) Improvements to Highway 270 (Albert Pike Road) will require a lane closure in Hot Springs, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Crews will be resurfacing Highway 270 (Albert Pike Road) at the intersection of Thornton Ferry Road, just west of Lake Hamilton.  The work will require closing the eastbound outside lane on Highway 270 at that location.

The lane closure will be Thursday, August 14th, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ArkansasHighways.com. You can also follow us on Twitter @AHTD.
