HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) -- Sheriff's deputies arrested Jesse A. Dunn, 27, Thursday afternoon on charges of stalking a child and possessing child pornography.

According to the arrest report, a father reported that his 14-year-old daughter had been receiving sexually explicit text messages and photos from Dunn.

The report also says that the victim's conversations with Dunn initially started via private chat on Facebook. Investigators say the girl traded several suggestive photos with Dunn.

Police: Woman, baby assaulted by ex-boyfriend

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) -- Officials with the Garland County Sheriff's Office say a 23-year-old woman and her 10-month-old child were assaulted by the woman's ex-boyfriend Monday afternoon.

The assault reportedly happened on Green Circle, off off Lookout Point Road. According to authorities the crime involved a gun, but no one was shot.

At this point, investigators have one suspect, with the possibility of a second suspect being involved. They are still interviewing witnesses and the victim. No arrests have been made.

Right now the names, motive, extent of injuries nor any other information is not being released. The investigation is ongoing.

  • Teach your children to never enter any home without you or without your permission and only approach homes that are well-lit.
  • Remind children to stay in well-lit areas, never take shortcuts, and never go into isolated areas.
  • Let your know to tell you or a trusted adult if they see anything weird or unusual.
  • Teach children to bring treats home before eating them.

Benton police search for sex offender

BENTON, Ark. -- The Benton Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a sex offender that has an active felony warrant.  The offender is Jessie Knight (B/M, 54 YOA) who has violated a provision of his release terms and conditions.

Jessie Knight is wanted for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.   Knight is in violation for not providing a current address where he is residing pursuant to his release requirements.

Charges/warrants:

Johnson is alleged to have deliberately rammed the parked vehicle of a former boyfriend on Nov. 11 at about 11:30 p.m. The vehicle was parked in front of a residence in the 100 block of Leach Street. A warrant for criminal mischief in the first degree, a class C felony, has been issued for Johnson’s arrest, with a bond amount of $3,500.
