HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) - A popular local attraction is teaming up with a charity organization to help those who need it the most.
Lasting through the month of October and into the first of November, Magic Springs is working with Project Hope Food Bank of Hot Springs on several events.
On Saturday, October 24 from 8 a.m. till 1 p.m., employees with Magic Springs are hosting a Monster Yard Sale and Blood Drive at the entrance of the park. The yard sale is open to the public and 10 percent of the proceeds will be given to Project Hope. A discount coupon to anyone who makes a purchase at the Yard Sale will also receive $10 off Magic Screams admission- making it $19.99.
“It’s something our employees wanted to do for themselves, and they want to give back to the community at the same time,” said Steve Honeycutt, general manager of Magic Springs.
