July 11, 2011 (Little Rock, Arkansas) – The fastest growing fashion week in America, Little Rock Fashion Week (LRFW) heats up with NBC Miami star, Peter Bailey.

Bailey, host of NBC's Miami-based entertainment show NiteCap with Peter Bailey, will take center stage as he co-hosts the featured Posh Expression Fashion Experience on Saturday, July 16.

"I've seen Brandon foster Little Rock Fashion Week from an idea into a movement to foster growth and opportunity in his native hometown," says Bailey. "I'm a fan of such innovation. Like the city from which it originates, it's bold, provocative and endearing."

As an award-winning journalist, Bailey also worked as a staff writer at the Miami Herald, Time and Newsweek before transitioning into books and television.  Bailey is also the co-author of hip-hop legend Trick Daddy's memoir Magic City: Trials of a Native Son, which the New York Times called "one of the pop music gems of 2010.”  Bailey is currently working on his second book, which chronicles the rise of Southern hip-hop and modern day pop culture.

“I’m thrilled to have Peter Bailey be an emcee. His work in this industry speaks for itself,” says Brandon D. Campbell, LRFW’s founder and executive producer. “Peter is a rising star in the entertainment industry. Celebrities come to Miami to get an interview with him, and for him to be in our city for Little Rock Fashion Week says a lot about how significant Little Rock Fashion Week is nationally.”

Deeply rooted in philanthropy in his native Virgin Islands, Bailey has recently started a college scholarship for students to attend the University of Delaware, his college alma mater. As an avid astronomer and jazz enthusiast, Bailey said that he is very excited and looking forward to being part of Fashion Week.

Tickets for this week’s events are now available at www.littlerockfashionweek.com, Uncle T’s, The Fashion Vault, Gallery 26, and RK Collections.
