Campbell begins school speaking tour at UAPB

Little Rock, Ark – On Friday November 9th, Brandon D. Campbell, the creator and executive producer of Little Rock Fashion Week, kicks off his fall season speaking engagements at University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

The event begins at 1 p.m. at UAPB’s Adair-Greenhouse Building room 222. Campbell will share his experiences in the fashion and entertainment industries and give advice to students, aspiring for a career in the fashion industry.

“This is a very exciting time for me” says Campbell. “It’s my goal to be a resource to students for the purpose of providing insight, encouragement, and opportunities. I’m honored to be given the chance, due to my experiences, to be a source of empowerment for students. This is an important way to give back to the community, in my opinion, and I’m thankful to be allowed to present.”

After Campbell’s UAPB engagement, he and professional models from LRFW make a third appearance for the Little Rock School District annual Jane Mendel Reading Day. On Tuesday November 13th at 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m., Campbell and models will read their favorite children’s books at Romine Elementary School and Baseline Elementary School.

On Wednesday November 14th from 10:20 a.m. to 11 a.m., Campbell will be a guest speaker at Phillips Community College of University of Arkansas’s Career Day for Dewitt High School. On Thursday November 15th from 5 pm to 7 pm, he’ll participate in the University of Arkansas at Little Rock College of Business Speed Mixer for students.
